Social Events

 

AAAI HCOMP 2022 will feature three specially crafted social events for the participants to get to know each other and have a blast while doing so. We want people from different time zones to be able to participate. Do come and join us to make HCOMP 2022 a collectively memorable experience!

1. Treasure Hunt

HCOMP 2022 was originally planned to be held physically in Taiwan, but we don’t want the change of plan to ruin our opportunity to present its beauty and rich culture to you. So we designed this treasure hunt in GatherTown, where you can find funny objects that lead you to photos taken by the locals about Taiwan. Collect these photos to get a better peek of Taiwan!

2. Pub Quiz

Get ready with your beverages of choice, for this won’t be just another “pub quiz”! The Ultimate HCOMP 2022 Pub Quiz will make you rethink the formula for making the average trivia nights way more entertaining. Our Quiz Master General is an experienced quizzer who knows just the right recipe to keep everyone in the game. Bring your competitive spirits, or your general curiosity. Whether you know it all, or you know nothing at all, we’ll plant something for everyone. There are prizes to be won with plenty of fun!

3. Homemetherapy

They say laughter is the shortest distance between any two people. They say laughter is the language of the soul. They say laughter is irresistably contagious, and that laughter is the best form of therapy. Then let there be laughter! We’ve put together a group activity that will make you guffaw and giggle, chortle and chuckle, cackle and howl and roar. Bring your creativity, your wicked sense of humor and come up trumps in the contest. This is another one you do not want to miss!
